The Filipino Community in Atlanta, your community, our
community---a PARTNERSHIP

Atlanta today, known as the New South and the
destination of new immigrants is also home to a growing
population of Filipinos.

It is a privilege to welcome our new comers into the
community by way of sharing with them important and
perhaps key information and resources that will help
them adjust into their new community.

There’s a lot we can do to change and to improve the
lives of our members in the Filipino Community.  With
the Newcomer's Orientation, we help one another
promote the importance of community building,
networking, empowerment, continuing education,
cultural awareness programs and still maintain our
unique Filipino identity.

It is our mission to assist them in gaining access to
information on health care, social services, legal
assistance and other tools to help them achieve
success.

We strongly encourage our members to get involved and
participate in civic as well as social activities to
contribute to a strong and vibrant community.

Our community values the spirit of voluntarism and we
need each other to grow as partners.  ----
